This bill aims to amend various lines in the Employment Act that refer to the iC rank scale to replace them with the PSGS equivalent.

1Amend the Employment Act 2025.

1Amend Part 1, Section 2, Subsection 1 as follows:

1Replace “6iC” with “GS-15”

2Amend Part 1, Section 3, Subsection 1, Clause 1 as follows:

1Replace Clause 1 with “All employees GS-5 - GS-8 or GS-9 - GS-11 can only go on Leave of Absence for up to 31 days every 60 days."

3Amend Part 1, Section 3, Subsection 1, Clause 2 as follows:

1Replace “7iC” with “GS-12”

4Amend Part 6, Section 1, Subsection 1, Clause 3 as follows:

1Replace “6iC” with “GS-15"

5Amend Part 3 as follows:

1Renumber Section 1 as Section 2

2Renumber Section 2 as Section 3

3Renumber Section 3 as Section 4

4Insert Section 1 as follows:

1Low Ranks

1“Low Ranks” will refer to anyone ranked GS-1 - GS-4
