This bill will introduce correction slips which may be issued to correct legislation in stages 5, 6 or 7. This is a necessary tool to ensure legislation is correct when it takes effect. It will also allow Congress to correct errors they did not catch before it was too late, which might help prevent legislation from having to go through the legislative process all over again. The Supreme Court is also given the power to correct legislation where errors appear, errors which otherwise would have made the legislation unconstitutional. It is not right that legislation should be struck down for simple mistakes.

This bill was drafted in its entirety by .Martin on behalf of the OoLA.
