F31 (Renaming) - S7(1) of the Interior (Reform 1) Act 2026
[F32 PART 1 - OFFICE OF COMMUNICATIONS
- The Office of Communications shall include:
- Director of Communications (DoC),
- Press Secretary (PS)
- The OoC shall be responsible for the following:
- Creating graphics for use by the Administration, the OoPE and the OoC,
- Publishing articles on the website,
- The Administration's communicative effort to inform the public of its agendas, initiatives, plans and activities,
- Publishing a digital newspaper on a regular basis as determined by the EOP,
- Any other duties mandated by law or the administration.
- The OoC may establish or disband teams as it deems fit, which may include White House employees or external members that hold a universal badge as defined under the Group Badges Act 2025 who may be assigned and removed by the DoC.
PART 2 - OFFICE OF PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
- The Office of Public Engagement shall include:
- Director of Public Engagement (DoPE),
- Secretary of the Interior (SoI)
- Secretary of Energy (SoE)
- The OoPE shall be responsible for the following:
- Hosting events for the Habbo White House, its foreign relations and the wider Habbo community,
- When the Office of Public Engagement is planning an event where a foreign relation, or any other external organisation, is involved, they shall discuss with the Department of State the organization’s involvement within the event.
- Advising the EOP on engaging with the wider Habbo community,
- Planning, organizing and implementing strategies to increase awareness of the White House in the Habbo community,
- Habbo community means anything on Habbo which is outside of the White House and its foreign relations.
- Any and every form of engagement and outreach effort to promote the White House to the wider Habbo Community,
- Any other duties mandated by law or the administration.
- Events Team
- There shall be an Events Team, led by the OoPE, comprised of White House employees or external members that hold a universal badge as defined under the Group Badges Act 2025 who may be assigned and removed at the discretion of the DoPE.
- The Events team shall:
- Aid the OoPE in their responsibilities as prescribed in P2, S2,
- Perform any other duties mandated by law or given by the OoPE.
- The OoPE may establish or introduce any scheme, which may include White House employees or external members, to promote the awareness or engagement of the White House within the White House or the wider Habbo Community.
- Any scheme established or introduced shall be published in writing.
PART 3 - INDEPENDENT NEWS
- White House Press Corps
- There shall be a White House Press Corps overseen by the OoC, which may include White House employees or external members, which shall be considered the Independent News agency of the White House.
- Any employee or external member may join the White House Press Corps, and shall upon their request be added by the DoC.
- The DoC may only remove members from the White House Press Corps for breach of terms.
- Members of the White House Press Corps must follow a set of terms for articles by OoC and EOP, which may not impede on the right to free speech.
- Members of the White House Press Corps may not be sued for breaching these terms, unless they commit a crime stated elsewhere in law, but the DoC may remove members from the White House Press Corps for breach of terms.
- The DSA shall dedicate a portion of the White House website for members of the White House Press Corps to post articles.
PART 4 - POWERS TO AMEND
- The President may amend this act except for this part via order
- All amendments made to Part 1 of this Act by primary legislation must have received the DoC’s response
- All amendments made to Part 2 of this Act by primary legislation must have received the DoPE’s response F32]
