3Formal Notice Requirements
1Before a report of inactivity can be certified for legal action or public notice, the relevant Branch Leadership must attempt to contact the employee privately through the established communication platform.
2A grace period of 24 hours from the time of this private contact must be provided for the employee to respond or file a Leave of Absence (LOA) before a formal case is submitted to the Department of Justice."
